Spiritual Activations in Egypt

In September of 2022, my friend Ellen facilitated a sound journey for me with the intention to explore my connection to Egypt. Egypt had been coming up frequently into my awareness with signs and signals that it was of importance. I would even wake up in the middle of the night with images of hieroglyphs and pyramids coinciding with a strong physical vibration. I wanted to consciously understand these spiritual nudges.

In this journey, I believe I experienced a past-life regression, which is recalling memories from a past life that is stored in our superconscious. (A great book on this topic is “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Brian Weiss.) I saw the desert sands of ancient Egypt, the Nile was dried up, and the region in a severe drought. I had a son, who was extremely intelligent. I saw him writing highly technical equations on a papyrus and teaching others, even as a youth. I saw myself also learning from him, even though I was his mother. Fast forward to his early adulthood, I saw waters returning to the Nile and with it the flourishing of life. I then saw in super-speed the building of many physical structures and had a knowing that my son was the architect and engineer. Then I was in a palace being treated with high regard as my son sat at the right hand of the Pharoah and held a position of head engineer and architect. Later, I was inside a pyramid looking out over the land. That was the end of the information that came through.

At the time, I thought what I saw in my journey could have just as easily been my imagination as it was witnessing a past life. And my takeaway was that my connection to Egypt was having had a past life there.

A year later, my husband asked me if I wanted to travel for my 45th birthday. He threw out suggestions, including Antarctica and Egypt. (We hadn’t discussed traveling to Egypt before, but it was fresh in his mind because his uncle and partner had just returned from a trip there.) I got affirmation chills and knew that Egypt was the trip we were intended to take.

A month before departing, I had a phone call with my friend, Flo. She is a highly skilled and very gifted psychic medium. (One of the best I’ve ever met and grateful for her friendship.) After catching up on her, she asked what was happening on my end. I shared I had a retreat to host in Bali, and then two weeks after that Jeff and I would be headed to Egypt.

“Oh, that’s why he’s here,” she interjected. “There’s a giant being here that’s been patiently waiting to talk to you.” She went on to say, “He’s one of your Master Teachers. You two have a strong connection.”

I asked her to say more and here is what she channeled.

Stepped Pyramid of King Djoser, Engineered by Imhotep

“He’s telling me he built the Stepped Pyramid, and he’s showing me a pyramid that looks like a tiered cake. It isn’t smooth like the great pyramids of Giza. It steps up in sections and is almost rounded, like a soft triangle. He’s saying he built it. I can’t make out his name, though.

Now he’s showing me that he was also your teacher while he was alive, though you look older than him. You had sacred tasks working with herbs and oils in sacred rituals and for medicine and healing. He was a great teacher of metaphysics, was a high priest, and the right hand to the Pharaoh. Jeff was also there, but you aren’t in relationship with him. I see him holding a staff and more of an administrative role within the Pharoah’s court.

He said, ‘You are returning to the homeland.’

He is also telling me that you need to buy a gold amulet…a gold Ankh. It can’t be silver, it must be gold. You will have it consecrated at the Isis temple. You’ll need to dedicate it and intend it to be charged and infused with the healing vibrations of that space and of the work you did in that life. It will help you with the work you do now.

He is telling me to tell you, ‘You are ours.’”

As soon as we got off the phone, I immediately started Googling. I dove into all the information I could find. I knew what an Ankh looked like, but I didn't know much about it. I discovered that the Ankh is the "Key of Life" and symbolizes eternal life in Ancient Egypt. I found images of the stepped pyramid, looking exactly as she described.

The Stepped Pyramid was engineered by Imhotep, who was the chancellor to the King Djoser, chief architect, sage, astrologer, and high priest of the sun god Ra. He is also considered the true, original Father of Medicine. He was a physician who extracted medicines from plants and was credited with the diagnosis and treatment of more than 200 medical conditions. His written medical works were copied by the Greek Hippocrates, who took credit for his work. (Doctors to this day take the Hippocratic Oath.) Some of Imhotep’s documented procedures are still used today in modern medicine.

I never shared about my sound journey with Flo. Flo had no idea what our trip itinerary entailed. She did not know that we planned to visit the Isis temple in Aswan and the Stepped Pyramid in Cairo (almost 900 kilometers between them). Nor had she ever seen or known about Imhotep.

Continuing my research on Imhotep, I read that he achieved his position as King Djoser’s chancellor because he told the Pharoah how to end a severe drought. Imhotep communed with the gods and goddesses to learn how to end the drought and shared this information with Djoser, who implemented the guidance. The waters immediately returned to the Nile and once again Egypt flourished.

The Stepped Pyramid was the first pyramid built, and unlike other burial sites for previous rulers that were made from clay stones in a rectangular structure, it was constructed out of granite and limestone in the shape it is today. All future pyramids were improvements to this original design and modeled after it.

All of this information confirmed what came through in my sound journey with Ellen years before. It wasn’t my imagination! I was astounded!

In Cairo, we visited all of the pyramids, including the Stepped Pyramid in Saqqara. We also visited the Imhotep Museum within the park. On display was a section of the façade of the burial chamber of King Djoser. The turquoise and cream tiles looked and felt familiar. I felt affirmation chills go through me as I acknowledged the familiarity, and then the lights of the museum went out.

After the lights came back on, we walked to some carved alabaster vases. The placard informed us they originally contained the essential oils that were thought to have been used for King Djoser’s mummification process. With affirmation chills and a flash image of my hands and arms covered in oils, I knew it was my past life memory coming through. The lights went out again.

As we exited the museum, I felt so connected to the land and space. Afterwards, Jeff helped me find a gold ankh at one of the shops. It was our last night in Cairo; we were to fly to Luxor the following day and meet up with Jeff’s uncle Mark and aunt Jeri, who we’d travel with for the remainder of our time in Egypt. This was Jeri’s ninth trip to Egypt and Mark’s fifth.

In Luxor, the first site we visited was the Temple of Karnak. Our tour guide, Mahmoud, shared enough tidbits of information about his awareness of energy, chakras, auras, and energy work that I felt safe to share that I was a Reiki Master Teacher and certified in a variety of energy healing modalities. (I say “safe” because as a Muslim country, I wanted to be respectful of the local beliefs and avoid offending with my own set of beliefs.) Mahmoud was receptive to what I shared and as a result, secured us some exclusive access to a few sacred sites within the Karnak Temple complex. These spaces are not open to the public and there may or may not have been some payouts to guards. Even with all of Jeri and Mark’s trips to Luxor, this was their first time seeing these specific sanctuaries.

The first was the Osiris shrine. Mahmoud described a ritual that we were advised to follow, which included standing in the false door. False Doors were common in shrines and believed to be a portal between the world of the living and the dead, allowing the spirit of the deceased to exit and enter the tomb to receive offerings left for them. They are symbolic gateways for the Ka (soul).

We were to stand in the false doorway and receive the energetic download. As soon as I stepped in and against the doorway, all my energy centers activated and accelerated their vibration. When I felt the process was complete, I held my hand out with symbolic papyrus and lotus flowers that I carried to another chamber down the hall where I placed them into the wall and held my hands there until my intuition told me the process was complete.

Statue of Sekhmet at Karnak Temple

After visiting Osiris’ shrine, we were allowed into the shrine of Sekhmet, who is considered one of the most powerful gods in Egyptian pantheon. Sekhmet is known as the Goddess of War as well as Healing. She holds both the divine feminine fierce and nurturing qualities. I was advised to connect with her statue, and again my whole body vibrated as my energy centers received the downloaded information transmission.

It was a sacred, special experience I will not soon forget. I knew something powerful happened.

In the afternoon we visited Luxor Temple, and my body continued to vibrate as we walked the space and took in the grandeur and magnitude of the site. My body physically started to wear down. When we returned to the hotel, I needed to lay down and rest. Jeff met Mark and Jeri for dinner while I remained in the room. I started shaking violently as flashes of images, symbols, and information came in so fast that I couldn’t follow or comprehend them. It was overwhelming.

I reached out to two friends for help because I wasn’t in a right mind space to support myself. Both are energy workers. Fanny assisted my physical and energy bodies to integrate the transmissions. Anela offered guidance to humbly and gratefully ask the guides and light beings of the sites to put the information transmissions into my field to unpack and integrate later as I need it. To explain that it’s too much for my human, physical form to take on all at once. To thank them, and receive it with gratitude, but request it to simply stay in my field until it is needed. Between Fanny’s energy work and following Anela’s suggestion, the shaking and flood of images and symbols stopped. I regained my mental clarity.

By the time Jeff returned, I was feeling better but exhausted. I was grateful that the following site visits would require long car rides to get to so that I could sleep and rest. For each consecutive site visit, before entering the space, I grounded my energy and asked the guardians, ancestors, and light beings of the sites to be gentle and put the transmissions into my field to be integrated later. All the energy felt manageable from there on out.

Goddess Isis Stele

At Philae, we visited the Isis Temple. Isis is the Goddess of Love and wife of Osiris, at whose shrine in Karnak I had the powerful download. I removed the ankh necklace from my neck and wrapped the chain around my hand so that when I touched the walls, hieroglyphs, and offering stele (a carved stone slab where offerings are placed) it could absorb the energy of the space. After consecrating the ankh, I began to re-fasten the necklace around my neck and the chain broke. It couldn’t sustain the energy.

I have since put the Ankh on another, thicker gold chain and have already started using it in my work, along with Papyrus and Lotus essential oils that I obtained while in Luxor. A continuation of my work 5,000 years ago. I’m honored to actively participate in the awakening and spiritual expansion of the collective.

I considered sharing this story to only a select few because I feared that it wouldn’t be received wholly, clearly, and without conditioned or religious bias. Yet, the nudges have been too strong to ignore. I must share this because those that know I am a sane, intelligent, and logical woman will become more open to having their own similar experiences now that the possibility is seeded in their awareness. My hope is that we all awaken to what is beyond our physical senses, to open our intuition and awareness to what is beyond in the spiritual layers of our being. The time is now!
